Episode 2:4 Just Say No

Episode 2:4 – Just Say No In this episode, I open up about one of my biggest struggles—saying no. As a principal who also teaches driver’s ed, drives a bus, and takes on extra side opportunities, I’ve learned how always saying yes can spread me too thin. I talk about why it’s so hard to say no, the personal and professional costs of overcommitting, and how boundaries can actually make your yes more meaningful.

Thanks for the comment Charles! I wonder if this is a common problem for educators? It seems like many of us are over committing in our daily duties. Just know, as a fellow educator, I appreciate all that you do for your students and school. I’d love to have you the pod sometime! Let me know your interest and as possible topic.

I understand the problem with not being able to say no. My self here at West Noble, I have numerous roles. I am dual credit math teacher, dual credit Education teacher, Math department head, manager of the sick leave bank, NHS advisor, CTA officer. And sometimes it seems like I am stretched very thing.
